Hi, I'm Katie — a cybersecurity professional and software engineer with a unique background in criminal justice, digital forensics, and secure coding. My journey began in criminal justice, but my passion for technology led me to pivot into cybersecurity and software development.

🎓 I recently earned my Master of Science in Computer Science & Software Engineering from Merrimack College (2025), where I built secure applications, optimized systems, and deepened my expertise in:

• Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics: Incident response, malware analysis, and forensic investigations using Autopsy, FTK Imager, and OSForensics.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Developing scalable applications with Python, Java, React, SQL, and secure API design.
• Cyber Defense & Research: Exploring secure systems, vulnerability assessments, and modern software design practices.

I also hold a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity & Cyber Investigations from Boston University, where I completed hands-on labs and earned the uCertify Cyber Investigations + Security Certificate.
